SPECIES
We aim to be the chosen and leading wholesaler of more than 40 species of high-quality exotic
hardwood sourced in accordance with sustainable forestry and from sawmills over the world
sharing our values. Our large and varied stock in Europe ensures almost instant delivery at
competitive prices based on our efficient supply chain.
MARKETS
Global Timber is buying, selling and shipping high-quality hardwood in significant volumes
in more than 40 countries in 6 continents. Our sales teams all over the world and efficient
supply chain ensure that we meet local market needs. Our flexibility and diverse product portfolio
enable us to immediately react to ever-changing market trends and to satisfy our costumers needs.
CSR
We encourage, promote and support environmental policies and conducts from our global sourcing
suppliers. We want to provide righteous conditions according to CSR in local areas worldwide.
We source from licensed log-suppliers and we support sustainable forestry. We are accountable
for ensuring that we will not benefit from or contribute to violations of human or labour rights.
We are a member and firm supporter of more leading international Timber Federations and certifications that support and promote responsible forestry and legal timber production.
OWNERSHIP
Global Timber is an independent, Danish-owned company with four partners in our management. With individual competencies and years of experiences in global trading of hardwood, they represent a great team with a profound knowledge about the business of hardwood. Long term relations with top suppliers and industry-leading customers proves our track-record of being a reliable, financially strong and competent partner.
